Dustin Boyer hails from Bradenton, FL, and has quickly made a name for himself in the sports world, especially after taking up pickleball just 8 months ago. Within this short span, he has impressively defeated four top 25 singles players as ranked on DUPR. His journey, however, began much earlier, marked by a storied tennis career that started in Minnesota. There, he became the winningest high school tennis player in the state’s history, clinching 4 state titles and boasting an unparalleled record of 170-13 over six years, starting from the 7th grade.

Boyer’s tennis prowess continued through his college years at The University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where he played four years at #1 singles and earned a spot on the first team B1G Ten list three years consecutively. His ambitions took him to the professional tennis circuit for five years, during which he traveled to about 40 countries and achieved a career-high ranking of 580 in singles, alongside winning multiple doubles titles. Notably, he has trained with renowned players, including Kei Nishikori, at the IMG Academy.
Currently, Boyer dedicates his time to training for pickleball and offering private tennis coaching in Bradenton. His transition to pickleball was notably influenced by Hunter and Yates Johnson, who introduced him to the sport by sending him his first paddle eight months ago.
